PROPOSED CHANGE TO FEARRINGTON PUD On June 30, 2006, R. B. Fitch advised the residents of Fearrington Village that Fitch Creations was submitting a proposal to the Chatham County Planning Department to incorporate two parcels of land adjacent to Fearrington Village into the existing PUD (Planned Unit Development). On July 13, 2006, the FHA conducted an informational meeting to inform residents of the proposal. The charts from that meeting can be view by clicking here. On July 18, 2006, William Sommers offered comments on the proposal at the Chatham County Commissioners meeting. You can view the comments by clicking here. On July 18, 2006, RB Fitch sent an email to Fearrington residents stating that he was withdrawing the proposed changes to the PUB because, contrary to his intentions, it had turned into a disruptive and non-productive ordeal.
